Great and fun tool 🙂 I used the Chocolate Pen lately with the kids and they loved it. It comes with a detailed instruction, including pictures, which was very helpful for me since I’ve never used something similar before. You should take your time though to figure out how it works before you start using it with kids. It’s pretty easy to handle and to change the chocolate bags, once you did it. I like that the pen has an on/off button which makes sure the chocolate doesn’t go everywhere (especially if you use it with younger kids). I give it 4 stars since it’s a little big which can make it tricky for younger kids (preschooler) to hold the pen with one hand, since they also have to push a button at the same time to make the chocolate flow out. The Chocolate Pen is a great and fun tool for creating chocolate drawings, make your own pralines (shapes are included) or decorate cupcakes. It’s a tool kids will have to use with the assistance of an adult since the chocolate bags need to be heated up in warm water…

Horrible ! Better off dealing with child being sad for not getting, then to buy this junk. Really awful product. To answer some questions, this is for 9 or 10 and up children who have a lot of patience and moms who have a lot of patience. This is NOT a do-it-herself project for a kid to play with. This is All-Mommy-hands-put-the-baby-down-dinner-be-damned-poor-wine project (and mess.) The idea of this is so much better than the execution. The chocolate tubes have to be melted in hot water, so you have to put the tubes in coffee cups that you know your child can handle. You have to use all of one color up, then all of the other. You cannot switch back and forth between tubes because the ‘tip’ will get full of hardened chocolate that can only be washed out (so 20 minutes later.)You have to hold the pen upside down when you fill it, otherwise the ‘plunger’ is at the bottom and it takes 3 mins for the chocolate to start coming out….3 minutes that the cholate inside the pen is hardening mind you.You HAVE to leave that ‘cover tip” on or your are…
